"I was very Happy to find this recipe. My Mother's family is from Germany and every year at Christmas time she would make these pretzels.
And Yes, she would use Lye...They just dont taste the same if you try the other methods. I recently moved and cant find my box of cookbooks. So to find the recipe online really helped out..Thank You."
