Cake mix cookie recipe review,

"I've actually used this recipe several times, but as others have said, DO not used red velvet cake mix. I don't know why, but there is something nasty in the mix that makes them taste disgusting. I usually use white or yellow cake mix as these seem to work the best. When I make them I add a tablespoon of vanilla and whatever chips etc, you want to add, then I spread the mix into a shallow stonewear pan and bake it as pan cookies which saves even more time. They will have to bake longer and you will want to keep an eye on them as oven temps vary. I've never had a problem baking them this way though."
