"I've never had nor made Shepherd's Pie before but this came out pretty darn good. My boyfriend especially loved it. I added more seasoning than listed - salt, pepper, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder. I think next time I might saute onions and garlic with the ground meat for more flavor. I also think I'll sprinkle cheese on top instead of mixing it all together. I couldn't get it to brown."
