"Ribs are a rare decadent treat for us, so we are very fussy! We have two great recipes, one beer marinated southern US, and one Filipino based with rum, soya sauce,etc. We prefer the "fall off the bones" result, so we first brine, and then oven bake. This recipe is exceptionally tasty, but we found it to be very similar to Honey Garlic ribs as opposed to BBQ, perhaps because of the overpowering of the maple syrup. The word "BBQ" is confusing, but in this case, I think I would have added Thai chili sauce somewhere. BUT-they were excellent!! Thanks!"
