Great cookie for any occasion,

"I cut the recipe in half, using 4 cups of flour, etc., etc. It was easier to handle since I don't have a bowl big enough for 8-9 cups of dough. I also substituted anise for the vanilla- these were really great after two days old! I recommend using different types of flavoring for variety. Also, I did have to grease the cookie pan. The first batch stuck, even on a non-stick cookie sheet. This is the best recipe for an any occasion cookie!"
