Greek food at its best, January 23, 2008

"Thanks, Derreck, for sharing this recipe. DELISH! Since I can't find ground lamb at the stores in my area, I bought several lamb shoulder steaks and ran them through my meat grinder - twice. To the mixture in your recipe I also added about 2 tablespoons of ground hamburger meat to give it more hold and texture. I also might have added just a very small pinch of oregano (can't remember for sure). I served the grilled ground lamb with Taziki sauce, rice pilaf and fried eggplant. I'm printing out this recipe and it will be made again when I crave lamb!""
