"Thanks for your comments. I changed the instructions so that it is more clear how to use the oil. Part of it should be used to fry the onions and the rest should be added later. I made this and a potato kugel last Shabbat. There were no leftovers of this onion kugel, but we still have some potato kugel in the fridge. This is very tasty. Best, Giora"
